How It Works
Pregnancy testing is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Gather Your Supplies
Getting started is simple. Blood collection supplies can be purchased from Amazon, *BioTracking, your local veterinarian, or many farm supply stores. You'll need:

Red-top blood collection tubes

Needles and syringes or Vacutainer needles

Permanent marker for sample labeling

Materials for packaging/shipping

2. Collect Your Samples
Collection methods differ between cattle and small ruminants. Choose your livestock below for step-by-step collection instructions.
Clearly label each collection vial numerically (beginning with 1) and the animal’s ID using a permanent marker. For more info, please see our FAQs.
Important: Use a new needle for each animal to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Ship Your Samples

Wrap and seal the samples. Bundle the tubes, wrap them in absorbent material and place them inside a sealed, leakproof plastic bag.

Pack everything in a sturdy box. Include your submission information and payment. Do not ship samples in a plain or padded envelope.
